Titan Medical Inc. is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team.  They are a Canadian public company focused on the development and commercialization of robotic surgical technologies.  The Compay is researching and developing innovative technologies to empower surgeons to use robots in the operating room of the future.  They are currently developing Amadeus™, a next generation 4-armed robotic surgical system, with the objective of enabling surgeons to remotely manipulate surgical instruments.

Description:

The Project Manager will work with an internal team of Engineers and external partners to develop key elements of the Amadeus™ platform.  He/she will play a vital role in overseeing the project and communicating with all parties by creating work plans, managing day-to-day work and proactively handling issues/ problems as they arise.  The Manager is responsible for setting and managing deadlines and ensuring that commitments are met in order to provide for high levels of quality and customer satisfaction. 

The ideal candidate will have:
 
     •  Minimum of 2-3 years Project Management experience;
     •  Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electromechanical or Physics preferred);
     •  Previous experience in the medical device or automotive industry preferred;
     •  Knowledge and experience in the development of optic, vision systems is a plus;
     •  Superior communication and presentation skills;
     •  Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively balance priorities;
     •  Strong leadership, planning, organizational, analytical, and decision making skills;
     •  A proven ability to analyze and communicate customer needs;
     •  Capable of building collaborative relationships and working well in a team environment;
     •  A strong work ethic and self-motivated;
     •  Experience with MS Office applications (MS Project is required);
     •  Ability to travel to the US (approximately 3 days/month)
